Ana Teresa Writing and Editing

My name is Ana Teresa Ribeiro Siqueira, and I'm a freelance editor. I'm here to help authors develop and perfect their stories so we can bring their books to a whole new level.
My field of expertise is fiction, focusing on romance and fantasy, but I also have experience working with YA and women's fiction. In addition, I have extensive experience writing historical non-fiction papers.
My Story
I graduated from Florida State University in December of 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in English (focused on Editing, Writing and Media) summa cum laude. I double-majored in history and also acquired a minor in French. In the summer of 2023, I completed the Columbia Publishing Course in New York, where I spent six weeks learning all aspects of book, magazine, and digital media publishing.

I was born in Brasilia, Brazil, and moved to the United States when I was fifteen years old. I initially lived in Weston, Florida, where I completed my high school education and made lifelong friends. In 2018, I moved to Tallahassee, Florida, where I went to university and not only developed my writing skills but also discovered a passion for editing and helping others through writing. Upon graduation, I moved to Los Angeles, California, to stay with my family until my eventual move to NYC.

As expected of a book editor, I have a passion for reading books and consider that to be my main hobby. I've always loved reading fantasy and YA, but after a long reading slump over my college years, I've also become a huge fan of romance. Reading aside, I'm also a big K-Pop enthusiast, and love watching anime and Korean dramas at home.
